Fate was to tease us

  • From behind my sunglass,

    I was fixated on you.

    Only two words had been exchanged

    but I already knew,

    that despite being tentative,

    you liked me back too.

    So I took off my glasses

    and walked over to you.

    We were in a loud club

    and I could barely hear

    the words you were saying,

    even so-close to my ear.

    But our hands overlapped

    and our gaze made things clear;

    it was right then I realised,

    I had nothing to fear.

    A girl as beautiful

    as I perceive you to be,

    I’d have never imagined

    being interested in me.

    But to my surprise

    giving rise to ecstasy,

    we kissed and danced

    ever so passionately.

    So for the rest of the night,

    there we were, entwined,

    kissing and text talking,

    with a bit 'a bump and grind.

    From head to toe,

    you were one of a kind;

    the most gorgeous girl

    I thought I could ever find.

    Your lovely long legs

    and dazzling eyes;

    I held my palms at your hips

    'n finger tips on your thighs.

    As you wound down me all slick,

    my hands slipped up your sides,

    all eyes were upon you

    but I was your guy…

    And as the club started to shut

    'n we walked to the gate,

    I wished the night to continue,

    no matter how late.

    Meeting you was not chance;

    it had to be fate.

    So I turned to you and told you

    I’d love us to date…

    You smiled at me to say

    “See how things go.”

    But you'd have been worth it,

    so I'd have played slow.

    But then this was the only night

    you were in town so,

    we headed back to mine

    where my luck seemed to grow.

    Gripping and kissing

    with desire and lust,

    I couldn't keep my hands off

    your voluptuous bust.

    You were treating me properly -

    it was the boyfriend experience -

    it was like we connected on a level

    that required intimate self confidence.

    But then, only time would tell

    if there was more, like trust.

    However, that night we were lovers

    and our passion was robust.

    Weeks have gone by,

    but you remain in my thoughts,

    my heart pounds when my phone beeps;

    is it I you have sought?

    Our night lasted forever

    and my heart was caught.

    I hope next time I see you

    your stay isn’t so short.
